With the recent death of a close family member, who was a believer, I've been thinking about life and death. And, how even though our physical body dies our spirit lives on. It's kind of like the transformation a caterpillar goes through to become a beautiful butterfly. The caterpillar walks on the earth as we do, but the butterfly has the ability to fly after its new beginning in its new form. Just as flight can be a symbol for being in the Spirit, flying and being in the spirit realm also changes our perspective on things.
So, don't become discouraged or don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison.
