The Biblical account of David and Goliath is one of the most popular stories from Scripture. It is a lesson of courage, faith, and overcoming what seems impossible. I wanted to capture David reflecting on the victory the Lord gave him over the great Philistine giant. David’s clothes are brown which symbolizes that he was clothed in humility. God was able to use David to defeat this feared enemy of Israel because David was aware of his identity in the Lord even though others considered him to be an insignificant, shepherd boy. As children of the Most High, we need to know who we are in Christ so we can fulfill our destiny in the earth.
